In order to improve the fulfillment experience on the Shipwire platform, we have undertaken a complete redesign of the interface and are proud to announce the arrival of a new Shipwire User Interface, known as the V3 UI. It has already been applied to select Shipwire accounts, and will be applied to all accounts by early 2015. All new accounts created November 5th, 2014 and later are automatically operating on the V3 UI.
To make the transition to the new application as simple as possible, we avoided drastic changes to workflows — it will be easy to use if you are familiar with the existing Shipwire Interface.
Most notably, the new experience includes a friendlier and easier to use UI, a brand new Guided Product Creation Tool, and some updated product types that make it easier for merchants to save costs by shipping items in various forms of bulk packaging. The new design will allow Shipwire to deliver a better, more consistent user experience. Below, you can preview the homepage of a V3 account and learn other benefits of the improved application.
Dynamic. An interface that scales to use the available screen real estate. Dashboards, reporting interfaces, and list views should be able to use up all of the available space.
Realtime. As changes happen with your account, these will be automatically reflected – whether or not you refresh a page.
Smart. As you work in a specific context, Shipwire will make it easier to do related activities such as clearing an order hold without losing your current context.
Responsiveness was a key design objective. The new interface will make it faster to fill in or edit common forms. It will provide more realtime feedback, and will surface the information you need, where you need it.
The new interface is simpler, and more intuitive. It will make it easier to learn how to use new features, and will do more to help you make sense of your data.
